The answer

There is no harm in performing with the names of Allah. Ibn Abd al-Barr said: "I do not know of any disagreement among scholars regarding the permissibility of ruqyah for the evil eye, venom, or similar ailments, as long as the ruqyah is performed with the names of Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, and with what is permissible for ruqyah." Al-Manawi said: "Ruqyah with the names of Allah is from spiritual medicine, and if it is uttered by the righteous, healing will occur by the permission of the Forgiver." In this, there is an encouragement for ruqyah with the names of Allah, and with sound supplications for protection from every illness, and that it does not contradict reliance on Allah.
