Is the sin committed during menstruation due to jinn possession or from the person themselves, and what should be done to overcome and abandon it?

It is advisable to be patient in times of tribulation, to persist in performing Ruqyah (definition) (Islamic exorcism/spiritual healing), and to seek refuge with the established supplications from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, along with increasing in prayer (du'a). As for sin, a believer is accountable for it unless it was committed without their choice. They must repent from it, strive against their soul to rid themselves of it, and repent whenever they return to it. For Allah's mercy is vast, and the door to repentance is open.
