Is it true that a person who frequently experiences minor ritual impurity (kathir al-hadath) cannot lead healthy people in prayer, even if he is the most knowledgeable of them and has the best recitation, and that his prayer is valid only for himself? And is it permissible for him to lead his wife in an obligatory missed prayer or in Qiyam al-Layl (night vigil prayer) when she does not have an excuse? And is one ablution sufficient for all of the night prayers despite the frequent emission of odorless and soundless minor ritual impurity?

There is a difference of opinion regarding the validity of the prayer leadership (imamah) of a person afflicted with urinary incontinence (sahib al-salas) for others. As for a husband leading his wife in prayer, whether obligatory or supererogatory, this depends on the ruling concerning the imamate of a person with urinary incontinence. Regarding ablution for leading the night prayer (qiyam (definition) al-layl), one ablution is sufficient for the entire prayer without needing to renew it for every two rak'ahs. The feeling of gas escaping does not invalidate ablution unless it reaches the level of certainty or strong presumption of its emission, or one hears a sound or smells an odor, because certainty is not removed by doubt.
