The question

1. What is the ruling on one who says the Taslim in the first Tashahhud? Is he considered to have exited the prayer by that, or should he complete his prayer and then perform a post-prayer prostration (sujud ba'di)? 2. Does washing the deceased nullify Wudu’ or not? 3. Is it permissible to combine and shorten prayers for a traveler returning to his home after Maghrib, who has not yet prayed Maghrib and 'Isha?

The answer

If someone says the Tasleem (salutation) in the first inadvertently, then if they remember quickly, they complete their prayer and perform the prostration of forgetfulness ( al-sahw) after the Tasleem. However, if they remember late, after a long period, they should restart the prayer anew.
