Is it legislated to repeat after the Fajr Clock, which announces the prayer times in a country where there are no mosques?

Answering the recorded Adhan (definition) is impermissible because it is not a real Adhan for the prayer time; rather, it is a recording of a previous Adhan. As for the live Adhan via radio or television, answering it is obligatory due to the generality of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: “When you hear the Muezzin, say as the Muezzin says,” unless the listener has already performed the prayer for which the Adhan is being called. It is legislated for a Muslim to call the Adhan in his home due to the great reward it entails.
