Is it permissible not to shave the pubic hair because the wife enjoys that, and what is the ruling on this act?

Shaving the pubic hair is among the practices of the fitra (innate disposition), and it is not permissible to leave it for more than forty nights. Maintaining the fitra practices encompasses religious and worldly benefits, including improving one's appearance and body cleanliness, being mindful of others' feelings, opposing the symbols of disbelievers, and complying with the command of the Lawgiver. The wife must magnify Allah's rulings and realize that these rulings have been legislated for happiness in this world and the Hereafter.
