There is no harm in removing hair that is Islamically permissible to remove. The has encouraged this, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Five are characteristics of the fitra: circumcision, shaving pubic hair, trimming the mustache, clipping the nails, and plucking the armpit hair." It is permissible to remove its roots.
