Is it permissible for the sister of a bedridden patient to wash and purify him? And does the patient have a concession to combine prayers more than is customary due to his severe difficulty with istinja' (washing after defecation/urination) and wudu' (ablution)? And is it permissible for him to perform tayammum (dry ablution), or pray without removing his diaper?

It is permissible for a sister to wash her brother who is unable to purify himself if he has no wife or man to perform this task, provided she is careful not to look at his 'awrah and uses a barrier if possible.

Prayer must be performed on time. It is permissible for the sick person to combine Dhuhr and Asr, or Maghrib and Isha only when there is a need. It is not permissible to delay prayer beyond its time or to combine more than two prayers.

Tayammum (definition) is permissible for the sick person if he is unable to use water or fears harm from it. The obligation of purification is waived if he is unable to use water and perform Tayammum.

It is not permissible to pray in a diaper that contains impurities. It must be changed if it becomes impure or another means should be used. A person afflicted with urinary incontinence should wash the area of impurity, take precautions, and perform ablution after the prayer time has begun.
