As for the meaning of the word, no one has commented on it. It is mentioned in Al-Qamus al-Muhit that it is the name of Shu'ayb's daughter. It was also noted that scholars differ regarding the identity of Musa's wife's father, whether he was Shu'ayb the Prophet or a righteous man. Ibn Kathir and Al-Sa'di preferred the view that he was not Shu'ayb the Prophet.
