The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it." A Muslim should balance good deeds. Imam Al-Shafi'i said: "Whoever memorizes the Quran, his value becomes great. Whoever seeks fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), his status becomes noble. Whoever writes , his arguments become strong. Whoever studies Arabic grammar, his nature becomes refined. And whoever does not protect himself, knowledge will not protect him."
