The answer

The Quran states that the jinn listened to the Prophet's recitation, as in the Almighty's saying: "And [mention, O Muhammad], when We directed to you a group of the jinn, listening to the Qur'an. And when they attended it, they said, 'Listen quietly.' And when it was concluded, they went back to their people as warners" (Quran 46:29). And His saying: "Say, [O Muhammad], 'It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened and said, "Indeed, we have heard an amazing Qur'an"'" (Quran 72:1). In Muslim, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The caller of the jinn came to me, so I went with him and recited the Qur'an to them." Al-Bazzar narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, recited Ar-Rahman to them, and their response to it was better than the response of the Companions.
