Why did the jinn in Surat Al-Ahqaf say: "Indeed, we heard a Book revealed after Moses," and not "after Jesus," even though the Quran was revealed after Jesus, peace be upon him?

The scholars mentioned that the jinn's statement, "O our people, indeed we have heard a Book revealed after Moses," and their not saying "after Jesus," was because they were Jews, adhering to the law of Moses, and were unaware of Jesus (peace be upon him). In Tafsir al-Qurtubi, it is stated that they were believers in Moses and then embraced Islam. Ibn Abbas also mentioned that the jinn had not heard of Jesus.
