The answer

There is no mention denying the occurrence of transmogrification (maskh) in this nation; rather, there are mentions affirming it. In Al-Bukhari, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned that some people would consider unlawful sexual intercourse, silk, wine, and musical instruments to be lawful. Then, Allah would cause them to spend the night (in a state of sin), remove knowledge, and transmogrify others into apes and pigs until the Day of Resurrection. In Al-Tirmidhi, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In this nation, there will be earthquakes, transmogrification, and showers of stones." A man from the Muslims asked: "O Messenger of Allah, and when will that be?" He replied: "When singing girls and musical instruments become widespread, and alcoholic drinks are consumed." In Al-Sahihain, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Does not the one who raises his head before the Imam fear that Allah might transform his head into the head of a donkey?"
