What are the suitable supplications for answered prayers in times of need, and what is the time of the last third of the night, and how should a Muslim supplicate to his Lord for his prayer to be answered, and is it true that every created soul has a mate, and why do divorce and spinsterhood occur if that is true?

Supplication (Du'a) is the essence of worship. Among the reasons for its acceptance are invoking Allah by praising Him and sending blessings upon the Prophet. Among the supplications that are answered are the supplication of Dhul-Nun: "There is no god but You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers," and the supplication: "O Allah, I ask You, for all praise is due to You..." There is also the supplication for a need (Du'a al-Hajah (definition)) after performing ablution and praying two rak'ahs. Among the times when supplication is answered is the last third of the night. As for every soul having a spouse, there is no evidence for this in this world, whereas in Paradise, there is no unmarried person.
