The answer

Each spouse has rights and duties; the solution to preoccupation lies in understanding and seeking common projects. It is not permissible to use hypnotic and tranquilizing drugs except with the permission of a trusted physician, as some of them contain narcotics or lead to addiction. If narcotic drugs are prescribed for treatment and no permissible alternative is available, their use is permitted under certain conditions: necessity, the testimony of a trusted Muslim physician confirming benefit, limiting use to the necessary amount, and ensuring they do not cause greater harm. It is advisable to consult a specialized physician, reduce drug use, and seek help through remembrance of Allah (dhikr), reciting the Qur'an, and sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon him), for "unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured" and sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) suffices for worries and forgives sins.
