Is it preferable to continue in the current job, which allows for performing congregational prayers and their Sunnahs, but consumes 12 hours daily and leads to negligence in reciting, memorizing, and reviewing the Qur’an, in addition to delaying the 'Isha prayer due to transportation time?

The enquirer congratulates you on your diligence in reciting the Quran and performing prayers on time, in congregation, at the mosque. He advises you to recite the Quran frequently, and suggests that you can engage in its recitation during the time your commute to work takes, both going and coming back. If you cannot recite from memory, then carry a Mushaf (definition) (copy of the Quran) to recite from it. Strive to complete a full recitation within forty days or less. It is not obligatory for you to disembark from your mode of transport to perform the Isha prayer in the mosque. If you arrive at your residence and find a congregation praying in a mosque, then pray with them; otherwise, pray in your home.
