The answer

The expiation for an oath is feeding ten poor people or clothing them. If one cannot find them, then fasting for three days. Feeding or clothing is not sufficient except for Muslims. It is not permissible to give to a disbeliever from it or from other obligatory dues such as vows, expiation for fasting, for Hajj, and (except for those whose hearts are to be reconciled). This is analogous to obligatory zakat, and it is necessary to verify that the recipient is a poor Muslim. Voluntary charity, however, is permissible for a disbeliever.
