Is Zakat al-Fitr obligatory for a guest present in the house on the night of Eid?

Zakat (definition) al-Fitr is obligatory for an individual on behalf of themselves and those whose maintenance is their responsibility, provided they possess more than what suffices them and their dependents for the day and night of Eid. The Hanbalis made it obligatory for whoever undertook the sustenance of a person throughout Ramadan (definition). Therefore, Zakat al-Fitr is not obligatory for a guest unless they are among those whose maintenance is the host's responsibility, or if the host, according to the Hanbalis, undertook their sustenance throughout the month.
