Is the wife sinful if she reciprocates her husband's ill-treatment, knowing that he does not speak to her, accuses her of being the cause of problems, and is characterized by selfishness and harshness of heart?

Marriage is built upon affection and love, and disagreements between spouses are natural and can be resolved with wisdom.

It is not permissible for a wife to abandon her husband if he abandons her. However, the husband must observe his wife's rights.

Some scholars hold that there is no sin upon a wife if she treats her husband in kind, based on the verse: "So whoever commits aggression against you, aggress against him in like measure as he aggressed against you."

However, this does not apply to abandoning the marital bed. A husband may abandon his wife for disciplinary purposes, but it is not permissible for a wife to abandon her husband's bed if he calls her, based on the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "If a man invites his wife to his bed and she refuses, the angels curse her until morning."

The questioner is advised not to treat her husband in kind, but rather with forgiveness and reconciliation, and to take care of herself and improve her marital conduct towards him.
