Is offering assistance to followers of other religions in the field of programming and exchanging knowledge about their beliefs considered forbidden (haram) in Islam?

It is permissible to interact with non-Muslims in permissible matters that do not involve anything forbidden or aiding in sin. Evidence for this includes the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) dealings with the Jews of Khaybar and his purchase of food from a Jew. However, anything that involves aiding in a forbidden act, such as translating or programming to spread their false beliefs, is not permissible, due to the Almighty’s saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression," and because aiding in disobedience to Allah is forbidden.
