Is it permissible to go to wedding halls designated for women only that have musical instruments, for the purpose of choosing a wife?

It is not permissible for men to go to wedding halls designated for women, due to the mixing and temptation involved. The prohibition is intensified if there are musical instruments and flutes therein, based on the Prophet's (PBUH) saying: "Two voices are cursed in this world and the hereafter: a flute at a time of joy, and wailing at a time of calamity." A person's desire to marry does not justify attending such places. Rather, a young man can entrust the selection of his wife to his righteous female relatives.
