Is it permissible to sign on behalf of a colleague on the attendance or departure register when he is absent from work?

A staff member signing on behalf of a colleague for attendance or departure while the colleague is absent from work is considered deceit, fraud, and cooperation in sin and aggression. This is because an employee must adhere to the work hours agreed upon in the contract and the attendance and departure times. Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, fulfill [all] contracts."
