Is it permissible to dedicate one's time to cultivating a small plot of land and devote the rest of one's time to worship and serving the religion, even if that is likely to impede marriage?

Work and earning a livelihood are necessary to aid in matters of this world and the religion, with the essential need to consult trustworthy individuals regarding the most beneficial type of work. There is no harm in delaying marriage for a legitimate reason, as long as it does not lead to temptation or falling into the forbidden.
