How many hours can one stay in Mecca after the farewell circumambulation (Tawaf al-Wada) during Umrah, before departing for Jeddah Airport?

The pilgrim performing Umrah should make the Farewell Circumambulation (Tawaf al-Wada') their last act at the Kaaba. This is a recommended act in Umrah, not an obligation according to the majority of scholars. Remaining in Mecca after it to wait for companions or to prepare for travel does not invalidate it, as long as one is engaged in these activities. Re-performing the Tawaf is not necessary unless one decides to stay in Mecca for a long period.
