What is the ruling on the husband or the wife's father paying salaries to the wife, and who has more right to them?

The salary of a righteous wife is her exclusive right. Neither the husband nor the father has the right to dispose of it except with her permission. However, if the husband stipulated, as a condition for her permission to work, that she give him a portion of it, then she is obligated to fulfill this condition. If the father is in need, his maintenance is obligatory upon his well-off children. But if he is not in need, he does not have the right to take from his children's money except with their consent. If the wife is imprudent (safihah), she does not manage her own money; rather, her father or guardian manages it.
