What is the ruling on leaving Mina before the decline of the sun on the third day of Eid, after appointing someone to throw the pebbles on my behalf after the decline of the sun?
It is permissible to appoint an agent for the ritual of stoning the Jamarat for someone who is incapacitated, or for someone who is in a similar situation, such as a woman who fears for herself. If the conditions for appointing an agent are not met, she is not permitted to do so, and she must sacrifice a sheep for the poor of the Haram. In cases where appointing an agent is permissible, she is not allowed to depart from Mina before her agent has performed the stoning. So, whoever departs before their agent has stoned must offer a sacrifice (dam). And if one performs the farewell circumambulation (Tawaf al-Wada') before the stoning, they must offer another sacrifice (dam), unless they repeat the circumambulation after the stoning, in which case no sacrifice is required.
