Can one choose the details of their life in Paradise, such as choosing parents and relatives, and determining the events and ages of their life, and then live it in this manner?

It is obligatory to believe in what is stated in the two revelations (Qur'an and Sunnah) regarding the inhabitants of Paradise, and to strive to reach it and attain the highest Firdaws (Paradise).

It is legislated for a Muslim to ask Allah for Firdaws for himself and his family, to strive for their guidance, and to wish good for them.

Immortality in Paradise is firmly established by texts from the Qur'an and Sunnah. Its inhabitants will not die, nor grow old, nor fall ill, nor tire, nor sleep, nor will they ever grow weary of residing therein. In it, they will attain everything they desire.
