If a person drinks alcohol, his prayer is not accepted for forty mornings. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he returns and drinks it again, the same applies until the third time. However, if he returns for the fourth time, his prayer will not be accepted for forty mornings, and if he repents, Allah will not accept his repentance, and he will be made to drink from the river of Al-Khabal, which is the pus of the people of Hellfire.

Mocking an authentic hadith of the Prophet, peace be upon him, is an act of disbelief. However, if the mockery stems from ignorance, from a person who does not know that the hadith is authentic, and does not intend to ridicule the religion, then he is excused due to his ignorance, and he should be taught gently and kindly.
