How can the Quranic verses which state that Allah forgives all sins be reconciled with the Hadith which mentions that whoever drinks alcohol four times will have neither his prayer nor his repentance accepted, and will be punished by drinking from the river of Al-Khabal on the Day of Resurrection?

Repentance is accepted for any sin, and the texts of Sharia do not contradict each other. Allah's statement: "Their repentance will never be accepted" and the statement in the noble Hadith about the wine-drinker: "If he repents, Allah will not accept his repentance" mean that they will not repent until the onset of death, at which point their repentance will not be accepted, or that they will not be guided to repentance and will die upon their sins. What supports this interpretation is that some narrations of the Hadith did not mention this wording, and Abdullah ibn Amr denied having narrated the non-acceptance of a wine-drinker's repentance.
