If the Hadith: "No one is more jealous than Allah" proves the attribute of a 'person' for Allah, then why doesn't the word "creation" in the narration reported from Ibn Mas'ud: "Allah has not created any paradise, nor hell, nor heaven, nor earth greater than Ayat al-Kursi" prove the occurrence of creation upon Ayat al-Kursi?

The meaning of Ibn Mas'ud's statement, "Allah did not create anything in Paradise, nor Hellfire, nor the heavens, nor the earth, greater than the Verse of the Throne (Ayat al-Kursi)," is that Ayat al-Kursi is not a created thing, but rather it is the speech of Allah. And the speech of Allah is greater than His creation, such as Paradise, Hellfire, the heavens, and the earth. The statement implies that no matter how great the created things are, they will not be greater than Ayat al-Kursi. This understanding has been supported by scholars such as Al-Bukhari, Sufyan al-Thawri, Imam Ahmad, and Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah.
