Is this considered a test for my friend who has turned away from the permissible pleasures of life out of fear of Allah's reckoning, and how should you behave in front of her?

There is no harm in enjoying the good things that Allah has made lawful, as long as there is no extravagance or wastefulness. If a person prefers to give them to those in need, it would be better for him, as Allah praised the Ansar. The fear of meeting Allah and His reckoning is required to the extent that it prevents a person from committing prohibited acts. And whoever renounces the pleasures of this world while being able to enjoy them and dedicates himself to preparing for the afterlife, he is on one of the paths of goodness.
