Is it permissible to pray in a mosque that was originally a church, and its exterior is in the shape of a cross, and columns are spread out in rows inside it?

When converting a church into a mosque, all visible prohibitions such as crosses, pictures, statues, and everything that symbolizes Christianity must be removed and nullified. It is permissible to purchase the church and convert it into a mosque after removing these symbols, and there is no legal impediment to that. As for decorations that are not specific to Christians, if they can be easily removed to prevent distracting worshipers, that is better; otherwise, there is no harm in their remaining. If the mosque's columns interrupt the rows, there is no harm in praying, because disliked acts are permissible when needed. The external shape of the mosque, if it appears as a cross from above, does not affect the validity of prayer within it, and there is no obligation to change its structure for this reason unless it is possible to do so by adding or removing architectural blocks.
