Why does the young person who is religiously committed, keen on prayer, fasting, reciting the Qur'an, and remembering Allah, face all these calamities and obstacles in his life despite his commitment?
Allah tests a servant to ascertain the sincerity of their faith. So, whoever is content and patient, the tribulation becomes an expiation for them and an elevation of their ranks. And whoever is discontent and anxious, the tribulation becomes a burden and punishment for them. Therefore, one should be patient, seek recompense, praise Allah, resort to Him, and be content with what He decrees. For tribulation is a sign of Allah's love for His servant, as stated in the Hadith: "Indeed, when Allah loves a people, He tests them."
