Does the phrase "If God loves a servant, He tests him" frighten me?

Great reward comes with great tribulation. If Allah loves a people, He afflicts them. Whoever is content will receive contentment, and whoever is displeased will receive displeasure. It is recommended to seek refuge in Allah from severe ailments, all tribulations, the changing of well-being, the suddenness of vengeance, and to ask Him for continuous well-being. Patience and seeking Allah's reward during tribulation elevate a person to the status Allah has decreed for them. Tribulation is a sign of Allah's love for the believer and an expiation for their sins, which alleviates the pain of the calamity.
