What is the ruling of Islam on buying and selling clothes or medals that bear images and statues of pharaohs or parts thereof, given that this trade is prevalent in tourist areas?

It is permissible to sell and use incomplete images (where the head is separated from the body) unless there is an external impediment, based on the saying of Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with both of them: "If the head is cut off, then there is no image." However, if the image is complete or magnified, it is not permissible to use or sell it.
