Is it considered impermissible to straighten children's hair for the purpose of killing head lice if the iron is hot enough to kill the lice and their eggs?

Experts should be consulted regarding the extent to which using this method on a child is beneficial or harmful. There is no sin in killing harmful insects by this method, and this does not fall under the prohibition of torturing with fire. And Allah knows best.
