Is choosing a specific food over another considered a predestined act from Allah, or has Allah predestined that and left humans the freedom of choice?

Man's choice of food is part of Allah Almighty's divine decree. Although man is free in his choice and possesses complete will, his will is subservient to Allah Almighty's will. For indeed, human beings are truly active agents, while Allah is the Creator of their actions, their capabilities, and their will, as confirmed by His saying: {For whoever among you wills to take a straight path. But you cannot will unless Allah wills, the Lord of the worlds.}
