What is the ruling on prayer and reading Qur'an while in a state of major ritual impurity (janābah) due to the unavailability of water for two days for a traveler?

If you are in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity) and cannot find water, you must first search for it. If you do not find it, then it is permissible for you to perform tayammum (dry ablution) and pray. Your prayer will be valid and sufficient. It is also permissible for you to recite the Qur’an after performing tayammum. However, if you pray without tayammum in this situation, your prayers are invalid, and you must make up all of them. It is not permissible for you to recite the Qur’an except for a small amount, such as an ayah for seeking refuge.
