It is more befitting for a Muslim to forgive those who have wronged him, and the reward for forgiveness with Allah is great. However, your utterance of forgiveness under duress and force is not valid, because one of the conditions for forgiveness is that it be from a willing heart. And duress does not necessarily require an explicit threat; rather, an order from someone in power and with authority is considered to be a form of duress.
