The mere belief of a husband that he has divorced his wife is not considered a divorce unless something that necessitates it is issued from him. If the husband divorced his wife before consummating the marriage, she becomes irrevocably separated from him with a minor irrevocable divorce upon the first pronouncement of divorce.
