Is it permissible to recite the Qur'an after burying the deceased during the period equivalent to the time it takes to slaughter a camel and cut its meat, and if not, what is the Prophetic Sunnah during this period?

The mentioned report is from the words of Amr ibn al-Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) at his death, and it is not a Prophetic Hadith. He enjoined that no wailing woman nor fire should accompany him, and that soil should be poured over him vigorously after his burial. Then, people should stay around his grave for a period during which a camel would be slaughtered and its meat distributed, so that he might feel at ease with them and see what he would use to answer the messengers of his Lord. Al-Nawawi mentioned that it is commendable to remain at the grave after burial for this period, which does not require two hours, but much less than that. As for reciting the Quran at the grave, scholars have differed on this matter.
