Is it obligatory to act according to the Maliki school of thought, or other schools of thought which hold that the basic presumption regarding things is purity, concerning the use of a deodorant that contains "alkyl" and the doubt regarding the purity of clothes?

Alcohol, being an intoxicant, is considered impure by most scholars. Therefore, if it is added to a deodorant, the deodorant becomes impure. However, if the alcohol undergoes a transformation (istiḥālah) and is processed in such a way that it is no longer intoxicating, then it becomes pure. In this case, the deodorant does not become impure when it is added to it. This is the view of some scholars, and it was favored by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah. If one is not certain that un-transformed alcohol has been added to the deodorant, then the default status of things is purity, and clothes are pure. There is no need to sprinkle them with water, and the prayer is valid.
