Is a woman permitted to refuse her husband's request for intercourse if he comes to her late and wakes her from her sleep?

Among the rights of a wife over her husband is good companionship, based on the Almighty's saying: "And live with them in kindness," and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "The best of you is the best to his family." If the husband deliberately stays out late without need, then wakes his wife to fulfill his desire, he is doing wrong. However, this alone is not enough to refuse him, unless there is clear harm. It is better to advise him kindly to avoid discord.
