What is the ruling on fornication with one's fiancée before marriage, and are the problems, stagnation, and afflictions of illness that befall the spouses a result of that, and what should the husband do to avoid the loss of his son?

Adultery is one of the gravest sins. It is not permissible for one who has committed adultery to marry the woman with whom he committed it, except after repentance and purification (Istibra’). However, if a period of time has passed since the marriage, it is permissible to follow the opinion of those who validate this marriage.

The two who committed adultery must repent, conceal their sin, and not inform anyone of their transgression; for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Allah does not conceal a servant's sin in this world except that Allah will conceal it for him on the Day of Resurrection."

If the wife mistreats her husband, the husband must follow the progressive steps of reform: admonition, abandonment in bed, and then non-violent striking. Otherwise, an arbiter from his family and an arbiter from her family should intervene to reconcile or separate them.

If magic or possession is present, the treatment is through lawful incantations (Ruqyah) and remembrance (Dhikr). One may consult trustworthy healers who use legitimate methods.
