Is it permissible according to Sharia to remove hair above the beard and define it from below with a laser?

"The intent behind 'the hair above the beard' is not clear. However, if it is not part of the beard's hair or its boundaries, then there is no objection to removing it by laser or other means, as long as no harm results from it."
