Is it permissible to say: "O Allah, I am pleased with You, so are You pleased with me?"

The saying: "O Allah, I am pleased with You" is a prescribed remembrance (dhikr) that necessitates entry into Paradise. This is based on what is mentioned in the prescribed remembrance after the Adhan: "I am pleased with Allah as Lord," and the hadith of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever says: 'I am pleased with Allah as Lord, and with Islam as a religion, and with Muhammad as a Messenger,' Paradise becomes incumbent upon him."

As for the phrase: "Have You been pleased with me?", there is no parallel for it found in the Quran, Sunnah, or the supplications of the pious predecessors. However, the door of supplication is wide, and there is no harm in it as long as it does not contain a legal prohibition, although adhering to what is reported is better.
