What is the ruling on a girl adding young men (or vice versa) on social media programs if the intention is to seek knowledge and benefit, and is it considered impermissible (haram)?

There is no harm in one gender adding the other on such programs for the purpose of seeking and imparting knowledge, as long as this is restricted by Islamic guidelines, such as avoiding unnecessary conversation between the genders, the absence of fear of temptation, and the participation being limited to sharing beneficial and useful materials.
