Evidence for this includes His — Exalted be He — saying: {And this is a blessed dhikr (reminder) which We have sent down; so are you disbelievers in it?} [Surah Al-Anbiya: 50]. It was also said that "dhikr" means honor, as in His — Exalted be He — saying: {And indeed, it is a dhikr (honor) for you and for your people, and you will be questioned} [Surah Az-Zukhruf: 44].
