What is your preferred ruling on the issue of placing the Mushaf on the ground?

In previous fatwas, we discussed the ruling on placing the Mushaf on clean ground, and we mentioned the difference of opinion among scholars between prohibition and permissibility. The view of prohibition is more cautious, out of reverence for the Book of Allah the Almighty and to absolve oneself, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever guards himself against doubtful things, he has indeed guarded his religion and his honor." And it is recommended to avoid scholarly differences.
