Is it permissible to place the Mushaf on seating areas such as a chair or a bed, and is it permissible to place it on the ground?

We mentioned the scholarly disagreement regarding the ruling on placing the Mushaf on clean ground, varying between prohibition and permissibility. The more cautious approach is to avoid this disagreement and to be careful with the Mushaf, out of reverence for it. As for placing it on a chair or a clean, elevated bed, that is permissible, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, placed the Torah on a pillow.
